In a heartfelt initiative, the MASTUL Foundation has delivered Qurbani meat to the people of Gaza, Palestine, amidst the ongoing aftermath of an eight-month-long conflict. The devastating war has left many families in Gaza displaced and struggling, making it challenging for them to observe the traditional Qurbani sacrifice this Eid al-Adha. Finding sacrificial animals was particularly difficult under these circumstances.
Recognizing the dire situation these communities face, the MASTUL Foundation took proactive steps to ensure that Eid al-Adha would still bring some comfort and joy to the residents of Gaza. This humanitarian effort underscores the MASTUL Foundation’s dedication to supporting vulnerable populations and upholding humanitarian values during times of crisis.
MASTUL Foundation’s Founder and Executive Director Mr Kazi Reaz Rahman emphasized the organization’s commitment: “In solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Gaza and the refugee camps in Egypt, MASTUL Foundation is honored to provide Qurbani meat this year. Our goal is to bring a moment of relief and happiness to those who have endured so much hardship. This initiative reflects our ongoing mission to serve humanity and extend compassion to those in need.”
The distribution of cooked meat spanned across Gaza, including Khan Yunis, Deir al-Balah Camp, Tal Al-Sultan, and several refugee camps in Egypt. This effort aims to ensure that all recipients, despite their circumstances, can partake in the spirit of Eid al-Adha and enjoy a nourishing meal during this festive occasion.
