Have We Forgotten the Flood Victims? A Plea for Rebuilding Lives

As the floodwaters recede, life in Bangladesh appears to return to normal. People have left the shelter centres and returned to their homes, but what awaits them is devastating. Once a source of comfort and security, their homes are now unrecognizable—destroyed, washed away by the relentless flood.
The flood may have passed, but the struggle to rebuild has only just begun. These families are left with nothing, standing amidst the ruins of what was once their life. The overwhelming task of rebuilding homes, lives, and futures is beyond what they can achieve alone.
In this time of urgent need, the MASTUL Foundation has stepped forward, launching an initiative to rebuild the homes of the flood victims. Mr Kazi Reaz Rahman, the compassionate founder of the MASTUL Foundation, has issued an emotional plea to the nation, inviting everyone to come forward and lend a hand in this mission of rebuilding hope.
“Now is the time to show that we haven’t forgotten them,” says Mr Kazi Reaz Rahman. “They need more than our sympathy—our help to rebuild their lives.”
Let us not forget those whose lives have been shattered. The flood may be gone, but the pain remains. Together, we can restore hope, one brick at a time.
