Dhaka, February 2025 – As thousands flock to the Book Fair 2025, a different kind of story unfolds at one particular stall—one of hope, compassion, and social responsibility. MASTUL Foundation, a leading humanitarian organization in Bangladesh, has set up its presence at the prestigious book fair, not to showcase literature but to raise awareness about the pressing hunger crisis and the struggles of the underprivileged.
While book lovers immerse themselves in the world of words, MASTUL Foundation is using the platform to remind people of the harsh realities faced by millions. The stall serves as a center for conversations about the importance of Sadaqah (charity), food security, and sustainable aid. Visitors are learning firsthand about the foundation’s tireless efforts to support the needy.
One of the key highlights of MASTUL’s initiative at the fair is the introduction of the Mehmankhana Project, a program dedicated to feeding the hungry. The project ensures nutritious meals for laborers, orphans, and struggling families who often go days without food. Through this, the foundation envisions a hunger-free society where no one has to endure starvation.
In addition to fighting hunger, MASTUL is also shedding light on its Shelter Home, a safe space for orphans and elderly individuals who have no one to turn to. With more than 100 orphan children and 57+ elderly residents, the shelter provides food, education, healthcare, and emotional support—offering them a second chance at life.
MASTUL Foundation’s presence at Book Fair 2025 is not just about spreading awareness—it’s a call to action. The foundation is encouraging visitors to contribute in any way they can, be it through Zakat, Sadaqah, or direct donations. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference in the lives of those who struggle to survive daily.
As the book fair continues, so does MASTUL Foundation’s mission to create a more compassionate society. Visitors are not just leaving with books in hand but with a renewed sense of social responsibility. Because at the end of the day, literature is not just about words on a page—it’s about stories that inspire action.
