National Girl Child Day is Celebrated by the MASTUL Foundation

ASTUL Foundation celebrated National Girl Child Day with a view to promoting girls’ rights and combating gender discrimination in society. Ensuring the girls’ access to education, proper nutrition, proper justice, equality and overall development was the initial goal of celebrating this day.
The event took place at MASTUL School premises with the presence of a bunch of students, teachers, esteemed officials, and respected guests from RECOWA (Retired Customs Officers Welfare Association).
In this2023, the theme of this day was: “Investment Priority, Daughter’s Rights”. Emphasizing this particular point the honourable presence shared their valuable opinion and their aspects as well.
Mr Zahid Hossain, President of RECOWA addressed the event as the chief guest with Sayeed Ilyas, Secretary General and Hassan Monsoor joint secretary of RECOWA in the Chair.
Apart from the discussion session, there were also some mindblowing cultural activities where the students showcased their merits and the optimal grade of enthusiasm.
It is worth mentioning the humanitarian organisation MASTUL Foundation is always proactive in terms of Child Rights, and highly emphasises the issue of a girl child’s education including other fundamental rights. At the MASTUL Foundation conducted school named “MASTUL School and Shelter Home” a significant number of girls are getting the chance of education and dreaming of a brighter future.
