With the help of SGS, MASTUL is bringing food items to the doorsteps of thousands of helpless flood victims.

Flash floods caused by persistent heavy rains in the Sylhet region have displaced thousands of families and affected millions. Many families lost their homes, belongings, and livelihoods. MASTUL has initiated a project of immediate flood damage remediation in various ways for flood victims in the Sylhet area. The MASTUL Foundation has already started working on this vision to revitalize the lives of flood-affected people and bring the Sylhet floodplain to a new level of sustainability. But, The flood waters have receded but the suffering of the flood-affected people has not abated. There is still a food crisis. They have no way to earn two meals a day.
Renowned international organization SGS (SGS Bangladesh) has come forward with MASTUL Foundation to provide food assistance to the destitute people affected by the severe floods. A joint MoU was signed between MASTUL Foundation and SGS. Mohammad Abdur Rashid, Country Manager of SGS, and Kazi Riaz Rahman, Executive Director of Mastul Foundation were present. And senior officials of the management of the two institutions were present.
MASTUL Foundation Team express their gratitude to SGS for standing by the flood affected people. We are hopeful that this new approach will be fruitful for the flood-affected people.
